Every weapon confirmed for Modern Warfare II so far

The complete weapon list for MWII is here

The full reveal for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II multiplayer is just under a month away along with the multiplayer beta. It’s around this time that we will truly see a majority of the launch content that Infinity Ward will deliver.

Up until now, we’ve only seen and heard of bits and pieces of multiplayer content through various trailers and hands-on experiences from content creators. While MW2 will certainly bring some surprises at launch, we actually know a solid number of weapons that will be arriving in multiplayer.

Whether it’s from the Campaign trailers, leaked from the Warzone Mobile game files, or through content creators, we have a list of nearly 40 weapons that are currently thought to be in Modern Warfare II. Of course, this list could certainly change from now until launch or not be correct in some areas. However, a majority of the weapons that we’ve seen/heard so far will likely be present when the game launches on Oct. 28.

All Modern Warfare II weapons revealed so far

As of right now, there are roughly 39 weapons either confirmed or rumored to be in MWII. The weapons that are rumored come from the Warzone Mobile game files, which had a plethora of MWII multiplayer information in them. The weapons that are confirmed were either seen in gameplay trailers or content creators saw them firsthand at preview events.

Twitter account @CoDIntelES put together a list of every confirmed weapon in MWII we know of right now. We’ll also list all of the weapons and their classes below. Our list will slightly differ from CoDIntelES’ because some of the weapons they’ve listed are variants of another gun, and we won’t be listing those as they’re likely the same weapon with different attachments.

It goes without saying that this list will not be the full list of launch weapons in Modern Warfare II. Infinity Ward might save some of these weapons for future seasons or scrap them entirely. On the other hand, they could also add new weapons between now and Oct. 28. We’ll simply have to wait and see what the developers have in store when Call of Duty Next takes place on Sept. 15 and reveals multiplayer for the first time. Then, on Sept. 16, players can hop into the beta to experience the game for themselves.
