This is the third year in a row DreamHack will be teaming up with Bell, a major telecom provider in Canada. Bell will actually be behind the gigantic Fortnite Freeplay area within DreamExpo. One highlight is that they are offering up a whopping $100K prize pool for both StarCraft II and Counter-Strike tournaments. They are also hosting the Rainbow Six Siege qualifiers as well.

“Bell has been one of our key partners since the first DreamHack event held in Canada,” said DreamHack Canada president Simon Marin. “They share our vision to constantly elevate the gaming experience at our events for attendees, and we are honoured to count on their support for a third consecutive year.”

The event will be held September 7-9 at the beautiful and massive Olympic Stadium. It’s set to host over ten esports tournaments! And don’t forget the vast majority of gaming industry exhibitors who will be there as well.

It’s worth noting that Rainbow Six Siege joined this year’s event due to popular local demand. (It’s developed by Ubisoft MontrĂ©al.) The champ of that tournament will secure a spot at the upcoming Six Invitational 2019.

The festival will also hold the following esports tournaments: StarCraft II, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros., and Street Fighter V.
