American League of Legends team Team SoloMid (TSM) has acquired Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett as their new jungler. Amidst a busy off-season for plenty of North American teams, decisions are being made to trade and change players on various rosters. To many fans’ surprise, TSM decided to make a decision that will impact their future success and overall team. This recently announced acquisition comes right after the trade between TSM and Counter Logic Gaming on Monday. TSM had made a deal to trade Andy “Smoothie” Ta to CLG while they took back former TSM player Vincent “Biofrost” Wang. Rumors had also indicated former Splyce AD Carry Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup will replace TSM’s previous ADC Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen.
Being a part of other teams
Dardoch, formally the 2019 jungler for Optic Gaming, had gone through plenty of changes throughout his pro gaming career. He started in 2015 as part of Team Liquid, jumping to Immortals, CLG, and back to Team Liquid. Most recently, he had played for Echo Fox to then switch to Optic Gaming and, finally, TSM. After being a part of the NALCS for both Echo Fox and Team Liquid, fans are hopeful these changes will bring great results to TSM’s future games.
I'm still under contract but I've been given permission to explore my options during this off season.

TSM’s new projected roster for spring 2020 includes the following:
- Top: Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik
- Jungle: Dardoch
- Mid: Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg
- Bot: Kobbe (Rumored)
- Support: Biofrost
Moreover, this is Dardoch’s first time joining TSM since he had taken part in the team tryouts in 2016. He became a free agent earlier this September and had been looking for a team.
Announcements
It's been a long time coming. Please welcome @Dardoch to #TSM.

The announcement of Dardoch joining the team came through TSM’s official Twitter, as well as their recently uploaded YouTube video. “It’s definitely been a long journey from that 2016 trial until now, but I’m just thankful that I finally made it back to TSM. I’m going to be the starting Jungler for TSM in 2020,” he said.
Afraid of toxicity?
In the past, Dardoch has been known in the League of Legends community and pro scene as someone who has toxic behavior. He had previously been suspended by Team Liquid in 2016 due to “his insubordinate behavior.” During this time, he was luckily allowed to participate in TSM’s team trials. Unfortunately, he was not picked to join the team and eventually continued on with Team Liquid. Many fans were afraid that his toxicity problems would resurface while going from team to team, but it seems he has been doing pretty well so far.
Dardoch joining TSM is the perfect chance for redemption. This is also a good time to show his fans and competitors that he can stick with a team for, hopefully, a long period of time.
