One of the exciting new innovations that’s arriving with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 later this year is the DMZ mode. While Activision only just confirmed it at Call of Duty Next, we’ve heard about DMZ for quite some time through insiders and various leaks. What we know about it is that it will follow Escape From Tarkov’s gameplay loop, which sees players drop onto a map with the sole goal of extracting themselves. Along the way, players will encounter enemies, both real and A.I., and loot. Any loot players keep with them after extracting becomes theirs but if they die, players lose all of their loot, even the items they started with.

DMZ could be a breath of fresh air for the Call of Duty franchise when it arrives on Nov. 16. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the mode aside from leaks; one data miner managed to dig into Modern Warfare 2’s game data and discovered a heap of information for DMZ. The main details they found were mission names and descriptions for the mode.

If this leak is correct, then players will have other objectives when playing DMZ aside from looting and killing enemies. They’ll have challenges posed to them that will likely have a reward attached upon completion. The leaker posted the entire mission list to Pastebin, but players can see the list along with the descriptions below.
