Reignover’s competitive history
Kim “Reignover” Yeu-jin (김의진) previously played for CLG as a Jungler during the 2018 NA LCS Spring Split. He also competed for Team Liquid during the 2017 NA LCS Spring and Summer Splits, along with the now-disbanded Immortals throughout the 2016 NA LCS season.
Unfortunately, Team Liquid achieved 9th place finishes in the 2017 NA LCS Splits. The 2017 Spring Split saw 5 wins and 13 losses. The 2017 Summer Split ended with 4 wins and 4 losses. After an unsatisfactory season, Reignover went to CLG, where they concluded a 7th place finish with 7 wins and 11 losses.
Before that, he also played under Fnatic during the 2015 EU LCS, where the team placed 3-4 at MSI 2015 and the 2015 World Championships. For the bulk of his time between 2013 and 2014, he competed under Incredible Miracle with its sister teams, Incredible Miracle 1 and Incredible Miracle 2.
History on Cloud9
Of the Cloud9 current roster, Reignover has previously played with mid-laner Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer during the 2017 NA LCS Summer Split. While originally a Korean player, he speaks fluent English and can help out a lot more because of this.
He joins Head Coach Bok “Reapered” Han-gyu (복한규) and Assistant Coach Jung “RapidStar” Min-sung (정민성). Cloud9 previously achieved a 3-4 placing at Worlds 2018 in a tie with G2 Esports.
During the 2019 LCS Spring Split, the roster tied with Team Liquid for first at 14 wins and 4 losses. The team ended up losing to TSM 3-2, but they still locked in a spot for the 2019 Rift Rivals tournament.
The 2019 LCS Summer Split begins on June 1. How do you think Cloud9 will perform in this new season? Want to keep up with all of the latest League of Legends news and content? Keep track on our League of Legends page!
