This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Chicago Huntsmen have officially released twin brothers Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson and Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson from their Call of Duty roster. These two were a key component to the Huntsmen’s success throughout the inaugural season of the Call of Duty League. While they managed to win their first championship together on EUnited, they fell short this year in Chicago.

Arcitys signed with the Chicago Huntsmen at the beginning of the year alongside veterans Matthew “Formal” Piper and Seth “Scump” Abner. Prestinni originally signed to the Florida Mutineers, but the team eventually released him after the first few offline events. Shortly after his removal from Florida, an opportunity opened for him on the Chicago Huntsmen. There were initial growing pains with the switch between teams; however, the twins soon became the best in the game.

Chicago Huntsmen make big changes

There have been several rumors during this offseason as to who would be removed from what team due to format changes. For two years, Call of Duty used the 5v5 format during both Black Ops 4 and Modern Warfare. However, the league recently revealed that the format would return to 4v4 for Black Ops Cold War.

Arcitys is rumored to be heading to the Atlanta FaZe who are rumored to be removing Preston “Priestahh” Greiner. Rumors claim that the Atlanta FaZe will remove another member but nothing has been confirmed yet. With Chicago Huntsmen officially releasing Arcitys, there is a possibility that the move to FaZe becomes reality. However, there have been no rumors surrounding his brother Prestinni. His playstyle with a submachine gun will also be very beneficial to teams who are now looking to rebuild for the start of the 2021 season.

Who will replace Arcitys and Prestinni on the Chicago Huntsmen? Let us know down in the comments. For more Call of Duty coverage, stay tuned to Daily Esports.
