The bracket, like at Major I, features eight winners bracket teams and four losers bracket teams. There is no bye for the first overall seed like in years past. Instead, the eight winners bracket teams will square off against one another based on where they finished in the qualifier standings. As for the schedule, the action begins on Thursday, March 31 with the first four winner’s bracket matches.

CDL Major II bracket

The bracket for Major II is as spicy as ever. OpTic Texas are the first seed after winning all five of their qualifier matches in Stage 2. They face off against the Seattle Surge in round one, mirroring Major I’s bracket. The rest of the winner’s bracket features some interesting matchups that could go either way. There are also some surprising loser bracket teams, like LA Thieves and Toronto Ultra, that could make a run at Major II if they play as they did in Stage 1.

The full bracket can be seen below.

Day one schedule

As of right now, the CDL has only released the schedule for day one of Major II. However, we know that day two will feature all of the loser bracket matches, with Saturday and Sunday mixing both brackets’ matches. Every day of the event will begin at 3 pm ET.

Day number one starts with London vs. Florida and concludes with Texas vs. Seattle. While the match times are pre-determined, fans shouldn’t expect every match to start on time. Since the tournament is on LAN, there is a myriad of issues that could arise and delay matches.

What can be fully expected is the CDL Major II beginning at 3 pm ET on Thursday, March 31 at the Mystic Lake Center in Minnesota.
