The Nuke has become an iconic part of Call of Duty, but it’s mainly been a feature on the multiplayer side of things. That changed last year in Warzone 2 when the developers added the “Champion’s Quest,” which allowed players to earn a Nuke in battle royale.
The Nuke in Warzone 2 gave players the chance to end a match early and secure the win without having to be the last team standing. However, the new iteration of Warzone didn’t add the Champion’s Quest, meaning players have not been able to earn a Nuke since December of 2023. Fortunately for fans of the feature, that’s changing with the Season 1 Reloaded update.
Here’s how you can call in your own Nuke in Urzikstan.
How to earn a Nuke in Warzone with the Champion’s Quest
At the time of writing, the Champion’s Quest is not a feature within Warzone. It will only be added with Season 1 Reloaded, which launches on Jan. 17. When the update goes live, the Champion’s Quest goes live as well, allowing you to earn a Nuke in Urzikstan.
This time around, though, the Champion’s Quest is a little easier to complete than it was on Al Mazrah. In the new version of Warzone, you can either “win 30 games total within a season OR five consecutive matches” to earn a Nuke and detonate a bomb in Uzikstan. However, the new Champion’s Quest also comes with a slight twist. Opposing teams who kill a squad that has unlocked the Nuke can steal it from them, allowing that team to call in the Nuke instead. Any team that calls in the Nuke unlocks a special Operator skin, as seen in the image at the top of this guide.

It’s currently unclear exactly how that will work or how teams are able to call in the Nuke. We’ll know more when the Season 1 Reloaded update goes live in Warzone and we see what squad is able to call in the first Nuke in Urzikstan.
