There are several early contenders for the meta in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1, but none are more concrete than the BAS-B battle rifle. The BAS-B is arguably the best gun in Warzone and it has a dominant loadout that can excel at any range on Urzikstan.
The main aspect that has drawn many players to the BAS-B is its versatility. You can build the BAS-B for either close or long-range engagements and it will likely out-compete any other weapon the enemy is using. However, since it is a battle rifle, my loadout for the BAS-B focuses on mid-long range gunfights by increasing recoil control and damage range.

Best BAS-B loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor
- Barrel: Bruen Venom Long Barrel
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
- Stock: Ravage-20 Heavy Stock
- Magazine: 45 Round Mag
This is widely considered to be the top overall loadout for the BAS-B in Warzone. While some players might want to sub out the stock for an underbarrel, the core of the loadout centers around the VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor and Bruen Venom Long Barrel. Both of these attachments increase recoil control, bullet velocity, and damage range, all of which are crucial for excelling at long-range on Urzikstan.
The Ravage-20 Heavy Stock is in place to further boost recoil control and gun kick control, but at the cost of some mobility. Wrapping up the loadout is the 45 Round Mag, which is key to ensuring you can take on multiple enemies at once, and the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x optic. You can replace the optic with something you’re more comfortable with, but the 2.5x zoom on the Corio Eagleseye is great for most gunfights.
