Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Dec. 9 update patch notes

A new set of patch notes are live

Just a couple of days after the initial Season 1 update went live in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, another patch has come out. This time, Raven Software has addressed many of the issues that plagued players in the early days of the season. The developers also noted some changes that are coming in the near future, like fixing bloom and nerfing the PPSh-41.

  • AK-47 (BOCW)
    • Initial Recoil Deviation increased
  • EM2 (BOCW)
    • Neck Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.1, up from 1.2
    • Recoil Magnitude increased
    • Recoil Deviation increased

» Marksman Rifle «

  • Crossbow (MW)
    • Neck Damage increased to 250, up from 200
    • Upper Torso Damage increased to 240, up from 200
    • Lower Torso Damage increased to 220, up from 200
  • Marksman Rifle Charlie (MW)
    • Flinch Resistance decreased by 62%
  • R1 Shadowhunter (BOCW)
    • Neck Damage increased to 250, up from 200

    • Headshot Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.41, down from 1.45
  • Submachine Gun Charlie (MW)
    • Fire Rate decreased to .08, down from .075
    • Sprint to Fire Speed decreased by 2.6%
    • Note: These changes only affect Warzone.

The developers also noted that an “imminent update will further address Bloom and include adjustments to Weapons including the PPSh-41 (VG).” There was no timetable for this update but it sounds like it could arrive before the weekend is up.

The Dec. 9 update in Warzone Pacific delivered some solid patch notes. Weapons from Modern Warfare and Cold War received some much-needed alterations. However, there weren’t too many bug fixes in this update. Raven is aware of many of the bugs with Warzone Pacific and players keep track of their progress on the Warzone Trello Board.
