Zombies on the go

Similar to the Zombies game mode in the other Call of Duty titles, the mobile version will pit players against waves of zombies and boss monsters. This update was previously leaked by a data miner who has since been suspended on Twitter. He stated that the Pack-a-Punch machine in the Black Ops franchise would make an appearance, so players could upgrade their weapons in the lobby. As usual, there are also different rarities of perks and items for monetization purposes.

The community update post showcased the snowy Summit map from Call of Duty: Black Ops, along with a calendar for current and future in-game events. The currently running Call of Duty Endowment Pack lasts until Nov 18. On the 15th, the Sniper Only Event & Challenge and Molotov Cocktail Event will be released. A special Weapon Mastery Multiplayer event will also begin on Nov 16. Finally, Season 2 of the new Battle Pass will launch on Nov 25.

The success of Mobile

Activision announced that Call of Duty: Mobile had brought in $53.9 million in revenue during its first month. In addition, the first-person shooter has been nominated for Google Play’s Users’ Choice Game of 2019 award. Call of Duty: Mobile has already broken through records previously set by PUBG Mobile.

As such, Activision is focusing on new ways to bring in players with the addition of controller support for mobile players. The Activision Blog will post more details about this update early next week. Are you excited about the addition of Zombies in Call of Duty: Mobile?
