The mid-season “Rostermania” is finally upon the Call of Duty competitive scene. With fans speculating, players baiting, and everyone else looking for evidence, a lot of teams are about to change. Many of the team changes have been an “open secret” in the community, but finally, two organizations have officially announced roster moves.

Team Envy

After rumors of team chemistry decomposing, many thought Team Envy would nuke their roster, building around player Cuyler “Huke” Garland. However, Team Envy have decided to keep two other pieces: Justin “SiLLY” Fargo-Palmer, and Patrick “ACHES” Prices. While the former has had statistically great performances, the latter is just starting to get into form.

The boys in bleed have added two more young guns. Former G2 Esports free agent Jacob “Decemate” Cato rejoins Team Envy as the new SMG support. As well, 100 Thieves substitute Maurice “Fero” Henriquez rounds out the roster as the new main AR. Former main AR Adam “Assault” Garcia has moved to the bench as a free agent.

Evil Geniuses

Evil Geniuses have had a poor season, it’s no secret. However, they are determined to keep developing their roster. Bryan “Apathy” Zhelyazkov has rejoined the squad after his stint with Team Envy. Apathy previously played for Evil Geniuses and helped them claim their first World Championship in last year’s CWL Championship.

While he is expected to play an aggressive SMG position, it is still unclear who he’ll replace on the roster. Evil Geniuses have mentioned in their official statement that further moves are yet to be announced. With a below-average performance so far, here’s hoping that a change of scenery will benefit Apathy.

With the next major open CWL London coming fast, the mid-season Rostermania is in full force. Other teams with rumored changes include FaZe Clan and Enigma6, but we are yet to receive anything official. Stay up to date with these incoming moves here on Daily Esports.
