Submachine guns have quickly risen in the meta of Call of Duty: Warzone during Season 5. Maybe it was the nerfs to certain assault rifles earlier in the season, but more SMGs are appearing on Verdansk than in previous seasons. One of the SMGs leading the charge in this resurgence is the Bullfrog from Black Ops Cold War. The Bullfrog has always been a popular submachine gun but its Season 5 loadout has Warzone players equipping it as their main secondary weapon across the board.
The main attraction of the Bullfrog is its high magazine size. Players don’t need to equip an extra ammunition attachment, allowing the loadout to improve in another area, like mobility. It’s been discovered that the Bullfrog can be as mobile as any other gun in Warzone while also boasting high damage, low recoil and a huge base magazine. All of this makes for perhaps the best SMG loadout in Season 5 of Warzone.
Best Bullfrog loadout in Warzone
The two main areas boosted by the recommended Bullfrog loadout are damage range and mobility. Almost every attachment on the loadout improves one of these stats while only reducing accuracy by a small margin. Luckily, the Bullfrog already features little to no recoil, meaning players can still lock onto enemies and not have to worry about the SMG kicking too much.
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 7.4″ Task Force
- Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
- Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
The first two attachments on the loadout deal with damage range. The GRU Suppressor actually lowers it, but increases recoil control and suppresses fire in return. To get the damage range back, the 7.4″ Task Force barrel comes into play, boosting the stat by 50% while also increasing regular damage by 3% and bullet velocity by 75% as well.
Rounding out the loadout are the last three attachments, which deal with mobility. The Tiger Team Spotlight decreases ADS speed but features a higher reveal distance, giving players more of an advantage when they’re moving around the map. The KGB Skeletal Stock improves sprint-to-fire time and the Bruiser Grip boosts overall movement speed, giving this Bullfrog loadout more positive traits than most other weapon loadouts in Warzone.
