Blizzard announces Hearthstone Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City

Hearthstone Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City takes place between April 21-24

Blizzard announced Hearthstone Masters Tour: Voyage to the Sunken City via Twitter on Thursday, featuring a $250,000 prize pool and the title of Masters Tour Champion.

Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City

Hearthstone Masters Tour Voyage to the Sunken City will take place between April 21-24. The live broadcast matches will occur between 2 a.m. EST and 2 p.m. EST each day, according to Blizzard.

The first day of the live broadcast will showcase four rounds of swiss pairings. This will be followed by four more rounds of swiss pairings on the second day. On championship Sunday, the top 16 Hearthstone players will duke it out against each other to earn a place in the top eight and eventually the finals for the Masters Tour Champion title.

Players will duel under the conquest with a ban format, which involves bringing four decks and four unique classes into the fray. Each player gets to ban one deck from their opponent during the best-of-five matches.

Hearthstone Masters Tour Ruins of Alterac

This tournament will also be the third one of this year, following Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair and Masters Tour Ruins of Alterac. Although Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair has ended, Masters Tour Ruins of Alterac will kick off this Friday.

While competitors battle for this weekend’s crown between March 18-20, Hearthstone fans can earn up to two Fractured in Alterac Valley card packs. To get started, viewers must connect their YouTube and Battle.net accounts by visiting the “Connected Apps” section on YouTube and clicking the “Connect” button located beside Battle.net.

A viewer must watch two hours of the live broadcast on a qualifying channel to earn the first card pack. The second card pack can be earned by watching two more hours of content.
