Best Warzone 2 loadouts — Best meta loadouts, weapons, and classes

The best of the best on Al Mazrah

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has officially been out for two weeks, and the player base has truly begun to understand the game at this point. While this encompasses everything the game has to offer, players have especially figured out which guns and loadouts they like using in Warzone 2 more than anything. The meta has been set after the Season 1 update, and there are several guns that players should equip above others if they want the best chance to succeed.

Today, we’ll be listing what we believe to be the top five loadouts currently in Warzone 2. These loadouts will feature five different weapons, most of which are from different classes. It’s worth noting that this list could easily change with one update. Season 1 Reloaded could bring more weapon balancing and introduce new meta weapons, but, for now, these are the top five loadouts in Warzone 2.

1. TAQ-56

The best overall weapon in Warzone 2 is first up on our list. While players have picked the M4 far more, the TAQ-56 is the better assault rifle on Al Mazrah. It has an incredible damage range and accuracy while still being versatile enough to deal with close-range enemies.

  • Muzzle: XTEN Havoc 90
  • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
  • Optic: Schlager 3.4x
  • Stock: Tactical Brute Stock
  • Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip

2. Fennec 45

Next up, we have the best submachine gun, and this race isn’t close. The Fennec 45 has the best time-to-kill of any SMG in Warzone 2 thanks to its amazing fire rate and recoil control. Players can use the Fennec as a mini-AR if they really wanted to, but it’s best-served up close where it can inflict massive damage.

  • Muzzle: AVR-T90 Comp
  • Barrel: ZLR 16.5″ Ignition Barrel
  • Stock: Agile Assault T-7 Stock
  • Underbarrel: Agent Grip
  • Magazine: Fennec Mag 45

3. RPK

The current consensus is that the RPK is the best long-range option in Warzone 2. While its effectiveness goes down the closer an enemy is, the RPK is a monster of a weapon that can obliterate enemies at longer ranges. It has great stats across the board, which are only boosted with the LMG’s best loadout.

  • Muzzle: Polarfire-S
  • Barrel: TAC 597 Barrel
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity
  • Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip

4. MCPR 330

If players are looking for a sniper to kill players at range, they shouldn’t look any further than the MCPR 330. This bolt-action sniper is lethal at range, possessing the ability to one-shot kill enemies with a well-placed headshot. While there are other snipers in meta contention, the MCPR currently comes out on top for us.

  • Barrel: 22″ OMX-456
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Magazine: 5 Round Mag
  • Bolt: Cronen Smooth Bolt
  • Rear Grip: Cronen Cheetah Grip

5. Kastov 762

Finally, we have another assault rifle. The Kastov 762 is a bit faster than the TAQ-56 and could be considered easier to use. It has balanced stats, but where it really shines is at mid-range. This AR can shred enemies thanks to its high fire rate and damage range.

  • Muzzle: Polarfire-S
  • Barrel: KAS-10 584MM Barrel
  • Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
  • Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip
  • Magazine: 40-Round Mag

And that does it for our list of the top five loadouts in Warzone 2. We’ll be sure to revisit this list whenever the developers release another round of weapon balancing.
