There are several meta options in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone when it comes to close range engagements. However, your best bet is usually going to be a strong submachine gun, such as the WSP Swarm or Striker. If you’re looking for another open, though, I suggest trying out the Striker 9, which has a high-reward loadout in Warzone.
The Striker 9 is slightly less lethal than its brother, the Striker, but it also has better mobility and a faster fire rate, making it an intriguing close range option. To see the best loadout for the Striker 9 in Warzone, keep reading my guide below.
Best Striker 9 loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle: Purifier Muzzle Brake
- Barrel: Striker Recon Long Barrel
- Stock: RB Crotalus Assault Stock
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
- Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip
The Striker 9 already has some of the best mobility out of any weapon in Warzone, so this loadout is primarily focused on improving its recoil control and damage range above anything else. I start out with the Purifier Muzzle Brake to eliminate horizontal recoil while the Striker Recon Long Barrel increases damage range and bullet velocity. While these attachments come at the cost of mobility, you’ll notice that it doesn’t really impact the Striker 9 too much.

However, for some added mobility, I have included the RB Crotalus Assault Stock, which boosts aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time. Finally, the Sakin ZX Grip further eliminates recoil and gun kick while the 50 Round Drum ensures you won’t have to reload too often, especially when fighting multiple enemies.

While there are slightly stronger SMGs in Warzone, the Striker 9 can absolutely shred opponents at close-range, so it’s not a bad secondary option in Season 1.
