Get out of Silver with the Surfer

The new event in Marvel Snap just kicked off with this month’s theme being all about the Fantastic Four character, the Silver Surfer. Alongside the cool event bringing in a ton of new cosmetics, locations and game updates, it also gave players a new card to play with being the Silver Surfer himself.

With a powerful effect, Silver Surfer is already making an impact in the metagame and in this guide players will learn what Silver Surfer does, what cards synergize with him, and of course, the best Silver Surfer decks for all pools in Marvel Snap.

Pool 1

Silver Surfer is a three-cost card with zero power which usually means that his effect will be quite good and that is definitely the case as, on reveal, Silver Surfer gives all other three-cost cards an additional three power which means that in the right circumstances he can bring way more value at his energy cost than almost any card in the game.

Obviously, with an effect like that, players are going to want to shove in as many quality three-cost cards into their deck as possible. Here is a Pool 1 Silver Surfer deck to consider:

  • Rocket Raccoon
  • Ant-Man
  • Angela
  • Star-Lord
  • Captain America
  • Ironheart
  • Mister Fantastic
  • Silver Surfer
  • Wolfsbane
  • The Punisher
  • America Chavez
  • Odin

Pool 2

This list just adds in more powerful three-cost cards that players will find in Pool 2. Odin is still the late-game win condition as he will be able to proc Silver Surfer’s effect again which is usually a game-ender.

Pool 3

There are a few lists players can go with when they open up the cards in Pool 3 as a ton of different directions open up. Even more powerful three-cost cards show up in Pool 3 making a standard Silver Surfer deck viable and with Wong being able to proc Silver Surfer twice, this list is a no-brainer for players to pick up and play.
