The best RPD loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4

One of the most underrated weapons in Warzone
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

The RPD is currently considered one of the most underrated weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone. The assault rifles and submachine guns are getting most of the attention in Season 4 but there’s a hidden gem sitting in the LMG category. While the RPD saw some meta usage last season, it’s always been outshined by others in its class. In Season 4 though, the RPD is climbing the ranks.

One of the biggest reasons the RPD has become so strong is its favorable recoil pattern. According to data accumulated by the community, the only recoil the RPD possesses is within the first 20 bullets. After this, there’s almost no movement with the LMG, meaning players can use it to great effect at medium to long-range.

Still, it is an LMG and that means its mobility isn’t the greatest. This is where the recommended loadout for the RPD comes in to truly cement it as one of the best overall options in Warzone. While LMG loadouts aren’t always the most popular choice, the right attachments can put the RPD in a pretty good place.

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 20.3″ Match Grade
  • Optic: SUSAT Multizoom
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

For extra mobility, the Serpent Wrap is in place. This rear grip gives the RPD an increase to its ADS time, which is a huge boost for medium range engagements. Following the rear grip are the muzzle and barrel choices, which provide added damage range and suppressed fire.

Wrapping things up is the Spetsnaz Grip to minimize the vertical recoil in the first 20 shots, and the SUSAT Multizoom sight for some added flexibility when aiming down sights. This RPD loadout might not be underrated for much longer in Warzone.
