Best RAM-7 loadout for Ranked Play in MW3

The MCW currently runs the assault rifle meta for Ranked Play in Call of Duty MW3, but you can use a couple of other guns in its place. The RAM-7 is a Season 1 exclusive weapon that’s currently usable in Ranked. However, the developers at Treyarch have announced they plan to restrict the assault rifle in a future update. This means you can’t use it in the future, but as of right now, the RAM-7 and its best loadout are free and clear to use in Ranked.

UPDATE: The RAM-7 has now been banned in Ranked Play as of Season 2. So you will not be able to use it in the mode, but you can still use this loadout for other forms of competitive play.

Best RAM-7 Ranked Play loadout in MW3

• Muzzle: Casus Brake
• Barrel: Cronen Headwind Long Barrel
• Optic: MK. 3 Reflector
• Stock: HVS 3.4 Pad
• Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip

The RAM-7 has some of the highest recoil in the assault rifle class, so my loadout for it aims to reduce that kick dramatically. This starts with the Casus Brake, which increases horizontal recoil control, and the Bruen Heavy Support Grip, improving vertical recoil control and gun kick control. The HVS 3.4 Pad also increases both of those stats, giving you an extremely accurate RAM-7.

Wrapping things up, the Cronen Headwind Long Barrel greatly boosts your bullet velocity and damage range while also improving recoil control. Finally, I chose the MK. 3 Reflector as my optic of choice, but you’re free to run another red sight as well.
