There’s no question as to what the best assault rifle in Call of Duty MW3 is, especially for competitive play. The MCW is at the top of the meta for Ranked Play, and if you’re planning on using it, you need the exact loadout the professionals use in the Call of Duty League.

Optic: MK. 3 Reflector
Muzzle: L4R Flash Hider
Barrel: 16.5″ MCW Cyclone Barrel
Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop (accuracy)/DR-6 Handstop (mobility)
Stock: RB Claw-PSL Grip

This is the current preferred loadout for the MCW in Ranked Play. It has changed from the first couple of weeks of the CDL, with pros opting to use the L4R Flash Hider muzzle over the T51R Billeted Brake. Where this is some wiggle room is with the underbarrel. If you’re an aggressive player, I recommend the DR-6 Handstop, which has more mobility. However, longer-range players might want to use the XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop for slightly extra accuracy.

Finally, I chose the MK.3 Reflector as my optic. Some pros also use the Slate Reflector optic, so it’s totally up to you with what sight to use. The current meta does not call for a stock, but if you want to use one, the RB Regal Heavy Stock is likely still your best option, even though it was nerfed in Season 1 Reloaded.

As a final note, there are several different variations of the MCW’s loadout floating around Ranked. This involves using the T51R Billeted Brake muzzle, the RB Rapidstrike Grip, and the SL Warforged Precision Stock/Precision Heavy Stock. I recommend trying out different loadout combinations and seeing which one works best for you and your playstyle before making a final decision.
