There are few weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 stronger than the MCW. The updated version of the ACR hits extremely hard, has virtually no recoil, and all of its stats are fairly high as well. Before you go running into battle with the MCW in MW3, though, you might to learn its absolute best loadout for multiplayer.
Since the MCW doesn’t have many weaknesses, my loadout focuses on increasing the recoil control for the assault rifle. This way, you can laser beam just about any enemy on the map, regardless of where they are or how far away they happen to be.

Best MCW loadout in MW3
- Muzzle: L4R Flash Hider
- Barrel: 16.5″ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel
- Optic: MK. 3 Reflector
- Stock: RB Regal Heavy Stock
- Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop (accuracy) /DR-6 Handstop (mobility)
For reference, this is the same loadout currently being used by every single professional player in the Call of Duty League. Most of the attachments in use are designed to increase both vertical and horizontal recoil control along with gun kick.
I also went with the MK. 3 Reflector optic, but if you’re more comfortable with another red dot sight, such as the Slate Reflector, or perhaps even the iron sights, I suggest going with that option.
