Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War features a healthy amount of both lethal and tactical Equipment. Like always, there are the standard items, being Frag, Semtex, Flash, and Stun Grenades. However, Treyarch has included some new pieces of Equipment to spice up the game. This includes the Decoy Grenade, Molotov, etc. While all current items in both the lethal and tactical categories are serviceable in multiplayer, there’s one set-up that you should be using. Here’s what we believe is the best Equipment set-up to run in Black Ops Cold War.
The best Equipment setup in Black Ops Cold War
Every year, usually right at launch, a meta in the new Call of Duty forms. Once players begin to find the best weapons and other class items, that’s what you’ll see a majority of the time. Of course, future patch updates change up the meta from time to time but for the most part, not much is altered from the original.
In Black Ops Cold War, the current meta revolves around the MP5 submachine gun, Field Mic Field Upgrade, and a healthy variety of secondary weapons. However, perhaps the area without a set meta is the Equipment. In public matches, you’ll see a wide array of different lethals and tacticals, which is a good thing for the game overall.
Though, as we previously stated, there’s one specific setup that offers a better chance for success: a Semtex Grenade as a lethal and the Stimshot as a tactical.
For clarification, the Semtex Grenade is far and away the best lethal item. It blows up extremely fast and has a huge range when you throw it. As for the Stimshot, the ability to heal yourself almost instantly is something every player needs to take advantage of. Be careful though, as it can become a crutch piece of Equipment you rely on too much.
That’s our pick for the best Equipment setup in Black Ops Cold War. Make sure to stay tuned to Daily Esports for all Call of Duty news.
