Best BAS-B loadout in MW3

While the best weapons in a Call of Duty title are usually an assault rifle or submachine gun, the same can’t be said for Modern Warfare 3. At the time of writing, the best gun in MW3 is undoubtedly the BAS-B, which has an outstanding loadout in MW3 that has taken the community by storm.

The BAS-B is a battle rifle that is basically a seventh assault rifle, as it doesn’t share many qualities of its counterparts in the battle rifle class. It has a tremendous damage range, almost no recoil, and solid mobility to go along with a fast fire rate, which doesn’t seem fair by any measure. If you want to absolutely shred your enemies in multiplayer, then the BAS-B offers arguably your best chance.

Best BAS-B loadout in MW3

• Barrel: Wyvern’s Respite Long Barrel
• Optic: MK. 3 Reflector
• Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop
• Magazine: 30 Round Mag
• Rear Grip: ST88 Grip

This loadout turns the BAS-B into even more of an assault rifle with the inclusion of the 30 Round Mag as well as a number of recoil control attachments. Mobility is slightly increased with the XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop while damage range and bullet velocity are also boosted thanks to the Wyvern’s Respite Long Barrel. I chose the MK. 3 Reflector as my optic of choice as well, but you can swap that to whatever sight you feel comfortable with. Finally, the ST88 provides extra recoil and gun kick control.
