Call of Duty: Warzone is notorious for several things in the gaming world. At the forefront of the notoriety are cheaters, which has drawn the ire of many players in the community. While not as serious as the cheating problem, Warzone is also infamous for the number of bugs that make their way onto Verdansk. In the latest installment of “What bug is breaking Warzone?” an ammunition attachment for the QBZ-83 is the center of attention.

Confirmed by analytical content creators, like YouTuber JGOD, the QBZ-83 assault rifle has a huge bug associated with it. One of the ammunition attachments for the Black Ops Cold War rifle isn’t working as intended. This is perhaps a result of the QBZ’s recent buff in Season 4 Reloaded. In any case, players are taking advantage of the bug for as long as Raven Software keeps it in Warzone.

Following the Reloaded update, players started using the QBZ-83 more and more. It received more of a buff than almost any other weapon in the patch, moving it into the meta for Season 4. As players began using and experimenting with it more, they noticed something off about one of the attachments.

The Salvo 60 Rnd Fast Mag is supposed to decrease the ADS speed of the QBZ-83 by 25%. This is to offset the bigger magazine size and faster reload the attachment possesses. However, players noticed that compared to the standard STANAG 60 Rnd Mag, their ADS time was actually increased.

According to JGOD, who tested the two magazines, the Fast Mag currently features an 83ms faster ADS time — which is completely backward.

This essentially means that players are receiving the best of both worlds, plus an added bonus with the Fast Mag. As a result, the QBZ-83 is completely busted when this attachment is in use on a loadout. The AR was already in good standing thanks to its damage buff in Season 4 Reloaded, but now it’s perhaps the best rifle in Warzone.

Raven Software is likely aware of the bug but there’s no telling how long it will take for them to fix it. Players should take advantage of the overpowered QBZ-83 while they can.
