Call of Duty: Vanguard is delivering more content to players than any other game in recent memory. For the past few years, titles have launched with barebones content and the developer opted to add to it with seasonal updates. It appears that Sledgehammer Games has decided to follow that model but also provide a sizable amount of content at launch as well. This starts with the number of multiplayer maps coming to Vanguard on Nov. 5.
Maps have been at the center of controversy in the past two years. Both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War launched with less than 10 multiplayer maps. While these games also had maps for other modes, the majority of the player base only hops in the 6v6 playlists. Once again, Sledgehammer has turned this philosophy on its head and is giving players what they want.
This article will showcase the entire list of 6v6 multiplayer maps coming to Vanguard when it releases. Champion Hill will not be included but will launch with four total maps.
Multiplayer maps in Vanguard at launch
There are 16 total maps coming to traditional multiplayer on Nov. 5. This is double what Black Ops Cold War launched with one year ago for standard 6v6 modes. The list of Vanguard launch maps only includes two remakes as well, which are fan-favorites from World at War, the fifth installment in the Call of Duty franchise.
Battle of Berlin
Bocage
Castle
Das Haus
Decoy
Demyansk
Desert Siege
Dome
Eagle’s Nest
Gavutu
Hotel Royal
Numa Numa
Red Star
Sub Pens
Tuscan
Those are all 16 maps coming to Vanguard when it launches. There’s also Shipment coming in the Nov. 17 update, so fans won’t have to wait long for another map addition in Vanguard multiplayer. Fans can check out the list of every game mode and perk coming to launch as well.
