All killstreaks in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta

A staple of any Call of Duty game is the killstreaks, and the same can be said for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Through today’s gameplay at Call of Duty Next, we were able to see everything that’s going to be available in the upcoming multiplayer beta. One of the biggest aspects showcased was the killstreaks. While the streaks in the beta aren’t reflective of how many will be in the game at launch, this does represent a majority of them in MW2.

One new aspect of the killstreak system in MW2 is the ability to toggle between killstreaks and scorestreaks. This means that players can determine themselves if they want to earn their streaks through sheer kills or overall score. If players go by kills, each streak is unlocked at a certain kill threshold. For example, the UAV is unlocked at 4 kills. However, if players want to go with scorestreaks, they unlock the streak at a specific score threshold. For example, the UAV is unlocked at 500 score.

Below, we will list all killstreaks that are going to be available in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer beta along with how much score it takes to unlock them. We weren’t able to see the killstreak values for the streaks.

• Cruise Missile – 750
• Mortar Strike – 750
• Sentry Gun – 875

• Overwatch Helo – 1000
• Wheelson-HS – 1000
• Stealth Bomber – 1250
• Chopper Gunner – 1250
• Emergency Airdrop – 1250
• Gunship – 1500
• Advanced UAV – 1500
• Juggernaut – 1875

As always, players will be able to equip three streaks at the same time. As of right now, we’re not sure if there is a Nuke streak in the game; however, someone in the beta might be able to find out if they reach 25 or 30 consecutive kills.
