A massive bidding war is breaking out for new Fall Guys skin

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

There’s not a more popular game on the market right now than Fall Guys. The “Ultimate Knockout” from developer Mediatonic has taken the community by storm and doesn’t seem to be slowing down. Many of the top streamers on Twitch and YouTube have moved over to the title almost full-time, giving it even more popularity. However, it’s not just the streaming community that’s boosting Fall Guys. A promotion for a new skin in the game has sparked a massive bidding war involving YouTuber MrBeast and even G2 Esports.

Mr.Beast and G2 bid over Fall Guys skin

It all started with a simple challenge from the official Fall Guys Twitter account. The challenge was for different brands in the gaming scene to bid over a new skin in the game. This skin would reflect the bidder’s brand and the money would be donated to Special Effect, a charity for gamers with physical disabilities.

The challenge would last for two weeks, and any brand willing to bid can enter. However, the brand needs to not be offensive for a game that has many children players. From here, brands all across the gaming industry replied for a chance to earn a skin in Fall Guys.

Big brands such as The Sidemen, BisectHosting, and Warframe all threw their hat into the ring. However, that all changed when popular YouTuber MrBeast upped the ante with a $100,000 bid.

MrBeast is well-known for his charitable giving and for throwing money around at various causes. For a time, it didn’t seem like any other brand would step up to his challenge but then both BisectHosting and G2 Esports came into the picture.

As of right now, G2 Esports holds the highest bid at $130,003. However, MrBeast has made it known that he doesn’t plan on losing the bidding war.

It should be a photo finish in the race to see who earns a skin in Fall Guys. Make sure to stay tuned to Daily Esports for all updates.
