Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 introduced a few new weapons into the multiplayer fold. Two of those weapons are available through the Season 5 Battle Pass while the other, the M13C assault rifle, was only earned through the recent Shadow Siege event in Warzone. That event is now over, and players are left with trying to equip the M13C with its best loadout in MW2.
When you first unlock and begin using the M13C, you will notice that it’s not the best assault rifle in terms of overall performance. It has a lower damage output than other fully-auto ARs and doesn’t have many other redeeming qualities to make it worth using over something like the TAQ-56 or Tempus Razorback. However, with the right set of attachments, the M13C can turn into a decent AR that can excel at most ranges in multiplayer.
To see the best loadout for the M13C in MW2 multiplayer, check out the guide below.
Best M13C loadout in MW2
- Muzzle:Â FTAC Castle Comp
- Laser: VLK LZR 7mW
- Optic:Â Cronen Mini Pro
- Rear Grip: D37 Grip
- Magazine:Â 45 Round Mag
The main point of this M13C loadout is to give the AR better mobility while keeping its recoil low. This gives you multiple options when approaching a gunfight, as you can attack at close or long-range without many issues. I have added the FTAC Castle Comp muzzle and D37 Grip to ensure your gun stays level when firing, which can be an issue with the M13C at longer rangers.

Next up, there is the VLK LZR 7mW, which is the lone mobility attachment on the loadout. It’s not much, but it will drastically help with any close-range gunfights you get into with the M13C. The Cronen Mini Pro is among the best overall choices for an optic on the M13C, as it benefits you at any range. While you can use its iron sights, they will not help you much when firing at a distance. Finally, we have the 45 Round Mag attached to give you some extra bullets in each clip, making it so you don’t have to reload as often or during the middle of a gunfight.
As a final note, you can use the M13C in the new Modern Warfare 3 and use this same loadout to great effect. However, you will need to change most of the rest of the class, as the perks have been entirely changed in the new multiplayer title. You can still use the same lethal or tactical as well as a similar secondary weapon. Of course, I suggest using some of the new content first so you can experience some of the fresh items in MW3.
