How to get Sentry Guns in MW3 Zombies

Missions and contracts are a major part of your progression path in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. As you complete more of them, you are given new ones that require you to go deeper into the zones on Urzikstan. One of the missions that has been tripping up Zombies early on, though, is acquiring Sentry Guns.

The Sentry Gun is a killstreak in Zombies just like it is in multiplayer, but it’s much tougher to find in Urzikstan. For most players, a Sentry Gun is required to kill a certain number of zombies and mercenaries once you have completed a handful of missions in Act One. If you want to keep progressing and make it further into the act, then you need to know exactly where to find Sentry Guns in Zombies.

My guide below goes over the primary location for Sentry Guns in Urzikstan.

Finding Sentry Guns in MW3 Zombies

From everything I can gather after several hours of looking, Sentry Guns can only be acquired through one specific method. That method is through a Buy Station, where you can buy the Sentry Gun for 2,000 Essence.

However, you can only locate a Sentry Gun at a Buy Station in the Medium Threat Zone (the orange part on the map). At any Buy Station across this zone, or in High Threat Zone if you’re feeling dangerous, you can click on the Gear tab and buy a Sentry Gun by clicking on its box in the lower left-hand part of the available gear to purchase.

The Sentry Gun is primarily required for the Tier 5, Act One mission called Hands Off. In order to complete that mission, you’ll have to travel into the Medium Threat Zone and find a Buy Station. You can easily locate Buy Stations by looking on your map and searching for the shopping cart icon. Be quick when accessing a Buy Station, though, as Zombies won’t stop attacking you when you’re going shopping.

I recommend simply buying three or four Sentry Guns, as you will need several of them to kill the required number of zombies and mercenaries. You can easily stow as many Sentry Guns as you can fit in your Rucksack, so there’s no reason to not have a few of them if you’re solely going for this mission in MW3 Zombies.
