Despite a bit of a rocky start, Riot Games will finally be holding a gameplay event for its upcoming first-person shooter, Valorant. Featuring content creators who participated in the rumored capture event, Riot Games will be broadcasting pre-recorded matches from last weekend’s Valorant Online Boot Camp. This two-day event will be streamed by Twitch Rivals and feature multiple best-of-1 matches.

How to watch Valorant

The first day of the Valorant Showcase will begin on Friday, April 3 at 1 p.m ET. The event will start with several matches featuring players from the E.M.E.A (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region. North American players will start their matches a little later in the day, at 4:30 p.m. ET.

During the Valorant Showcase, players who participated in the matches will be providing commentary on the game. For a full breakdown of each team and its players, check out the schedule. Major players in the Showcase include DrLupo, Timthetatman, and Electra.

Once the Valorant Closed Beta goes live, Riot Games will also be streaming the Valorant Showdown. Starting April 7 at 9 a.m. ET, the streamers from the Showcase event will be participating in a tournament again on Twitch Rivals.

This time around, players will be competing on a new map, with warm-up matches to get people used to unfamiliar terrain. Players will get two matches on the new map to get used to it, and then it’s on to the main event. Players will move to a best-of-3 tournament.

The showcase isn’t just to get a glimpse at some gameplay. Viewers who sign up can gain access to the closed beta on April 7. While not guaranteed, it’s a pretty good opportunity to get into it. We have all the information you need to get signed up for anyone looking for more information on the Valorant closed beta.
