Once again, Activision is going to allow certain players to access the Campaign of the new Call of Duty title a little early. This was first done last year with Modern Warfare 2 and it’s happening again this year with Modern Warfare 3. However, the Campaign early access won’t be accessible to every player who buys Modern Warfare 3.
Instead, you need to meet a certain requirement to access the mode before anyone else. If you meet this requirement, then you can download and play the Campaign before the full launch of MW3 occurs on Nov. 10. You can find out below how to take part in the early access Campaign and when it begins.
Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Early Access start date
If you qualify to access the Campaign early in MW3, then you can begin playing on Thursday, Nov. 2. The exact time has not been revealed yet, but sometime on Nov. 2, the Campaign will go live for certain players.
This will involve the Campaign tab being accessible within the COD HQ application. Of course, you still won’t be able to access multiplayer or zombies in MW3, but you can spend the week before those modes become unlocked playing through the Campaign mode.
How to gain access to the MW3 Campaign early
There is only one requirement to take part in the early access Campaign, and that’s to pre-order any edition of MW3. As long as you pre-order an edition sometime before the full launch on Nov. 10, you can access the Campaign early.

You can choose to pre-order the Standard Edition for $70 or the Vault Edition for $100. The Vault Edition gives you access to more in-game content as well as the Blackcell version of the Season 1 Battle Pass, making it a better value for you if you plan on playing MW3 through the first season. However, pre-ordering either edition will give you access to the Campaign one week early.
