Warzone Pacific’s demon gun glitch has made its way to Halo Infinite

The infamous bug has been transferred to Halo Infinite

Out of all of the bugs in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, the demon gun glitch might just be the most infamous. While players running around with invisible Operators is bad, having one’s gun turn into some kind of demon spawn might edge it out in terms of infamy. The glitch resurfaced in Warzone when Caldera was introduced, leading to some angry players on social media. However, it appears somehow, someway, that the demon gun glitch has been transferred to Halo Infinite.

The demon gun glitch is a graphical bug that sees a player’s gun turn into a spiky and black mess. It takes up a large portion of the player’s screen, not allowing them to see enemies or the map properly. It was a huge issue in Warzone whenever it reappeared and now Halo Infinite players are feeling its wrath.

Demon gun glitch has appeared in Halo Infinite

The infamous glitch began popping up in Halo Infinite in late December. Players around social media started posting clips of themselves seeing some form of graphical error. These clips were then followed by others that showed the glitch appearing on their Battle Rifles and Shock Rifles. Although, the player in the clip did manage to hit some nice shots with the Shock Rifle while being affected by the glitch.

As Warzone players know all too well, there isn’t much that can be done once the demon gun glitch has taken hold of a weapon. Players simply have to wait to die, at which point they can respawn with a normal gun and hope that the glitch doesn’t appear again.

Currently, the Halo Infinite developers are on holiday break, so an update to resolve this glitch likely won’t be pushed out until after the new year. Until then, players will have to hope their guns aren’t affected by the glitch, especially if they’re playing a Ranked match in Halo Infinite.
