The last month has been a nightmare for any player trying to equip a skin in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific. From invisible skins causing enemies to disappear right before players’ eyes to guns themselves becoming invisible, Raven Software has some work to do. However, players keep adding to that list with the discovery of new glitches. The most recent bug deals with a certain Operator’s skin causing weapons to not aim properly.
Players discovered this glitch recently and pinpointed it to a single skin in Warzone Pacific. The skin is a part of the bundle “Curse of the Ancients” and is for the Shigenori Operator from Vanguard. The skin is called “Shadow Outcast” and when players equip it in Warzone Pacific, their weapon scope becomes off-center. This causes players to basically lose all aiming capability and renders the skin unusable in the battle royale.
The skin is a part of a bundle that costs 2,400 COD Points, or $24. Players currently aren’t getting what they paid for.
Shadow Outcast skin in Warzone Pacific causes aiming problems
The glitch with the Shadow Outcast skin was demonstrated by a Reddit user on the CODWarzone subreddit. The post has over 500 upvotes, with commenters claiming they’ve run into the same issue as well.
Crosshair off center and bullets don’t even line up.

The original poster stated that when they equipped the Shadow Outcast skin, their weapon’s scope became off-center and their bullets didn’t go anywhere near where they were aiming. Other commenters said they had the same problem and it was only fixed by switching Operator skins. This seems to prove that the issue itself lies with the Shadow Outcast skin for Shigenori.
Raven Software has yet to comment on the issue. However, they currently have a laundry list of other problems in Warzone Pacific they’re in the middle of patching. Whenever the developers do comment, they’ll track the progress of a fix through the Warzone Trello board.
