Virtus.pro legends NEO and TaZ reunite at HONORIS

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

For months, we’ve seen speculation that the duo of Filip “NEO” Kubski and Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas would reunite at a new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. Now it’s confirmed. The ex-Virtus.pro legends are finally back together to form a new Polish squad, HONORIS. The team has already formed and features a combination of Polish young talent paired with the scene’s veterans.

Two Virtus.pro legends reunite

Polish powerhouse Virtus.pro was never the same after it lost the lineup of JarosÅ‚aw “pashaBiceps” JarzÄ…bkowski, Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski, PaweÅ‚ “byali” BieliÅ„ski, and of course TaZ and NEO. After numerous changes in its roster, the team failed to find success on more than one occasion. This led the organization to make a total switch from a Polish team to a CIS one, where the ex-AVANGAR roster was brought on board.

NEO had some brief playing time with TaZ at ARCY, an organization that disbanded due to lack of backing. In February, TaZ admitted to the possibility of the two CSGO players coming back together to form a brand new organization. And now that time has come.

HONORIS steps into Counter-Strike

The brand new team, HONORIS, features a roster of Polish veterans, as well as youngsters. It was announced formally on the team’s Facebook page today.

Naturally, TaZ and NEO will be the eldest in the team. In the middle of the age group, Daniel “STOMP” PÅ‚omiÅ„ski comes in, most likely with the AWP. STOMP comes in from Illuminar after sitting three months on the team’s bench. Before Illuminar, the 25-year-old played for Izako Boars as well as x-kom. Wojciech “Prism” ZiÄ™ba is next on the list. At age 22, the youngster played at Pompa Black. Kamil “reiko” CegieÅ‚ko, the youngest wolf in the pack at age 20, comes from the Polish team Codewise Unicorns.

The blend of experience and young blood at HONORIS seems to be the aim for the team’s success.
