Stage 3 of the VALORANT Champions Tour is in full swing.
While Fnatic and Team Liquid were competing in VCT Masters Reykjavík, some teams in EU underwent huge roster shuffles. One of biggest trades was Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt’s move to Acend from G2 Esports, where he and Jose Luis “koldamenta” Aranguren Herrero swapped teams.
As it turns out, the trade was hugely beneficial for both parties. Zeek brought a new playstyle to Acend and helped them secure a first-place finish at Challengers 1. He also assisted them in earning a direct qualification spot for the EMEA Playoffs. Now, Acend are one step closer to making it to Masters Berlin.
Zeek joined Upcomer’s Yinsu Collins and Tyler “Fionn” Erzberger for this week’s Showstopper. He revealed what it was like to leave G2 behind for his new team and candidly detailed his tough grind in VALORANT. Additionally, the former Fortnite player told Upcomer why he’s happy to play in the shadow of his star teammate Mehmet Yagiz “cNed” Ipek. And, last but not least, Yinsu, Tyler and zeek took a trip down memory lane in a special edition of “Roast My Tierlist.”
