The Vancouver Titans (with which Daily Esports shares a parent company) proved themselves as the top team in the Pacific Division of the 2019 Overwatch League Regular Season. Racking up 25 wins and only 3 losses, the organization also went on to place first overall in the Season League Standings.

The current roster consists of DPS players Hyojong “Haksal” Kim, Dongeun “Hooreg” Lee, and Chunghui “Stitch” Lee. There are three Support players in Junggeun “Rapel” Kim, Sungjun “SLIME” Kim, and Juseok “Twilight” Lee. Finally, Minsoo “SeoMinSoo” Seo is in a Flex role.

Vancouver Titans Flex DPS player Kim “Haksal” Hyo-jong was announced as this year’s Rookie of the Year. Furthermore, the Vancouver Titans currently hold the record for going undefeated 19 games in a row, in the Overwatch League’s longest match win streak record.

2019 Overwatch League Playoffs

The 2019 Overwatch League Playoffs is the postseason tournament of the 2019 OWL Regular Season. After Stage 4 of the Regular Season finishes, the highest placing Atlantic and Pacific division teams automatically qualify. The next four teams in the standings in each division also qualify, along with two additional teams from a play-in tournament. These teams then compete in the Playoffs, a Double Elimination first-to-four match where the higher seed picks the first map.

In their most recent match against the Los Angeles Gladiators, the Titans won on maps Busan, Temple of Anubis, Lijiang Tower, and Eichenwalde. The Vancouver Titans will proceed to the Winners’ Finals Bracket. They will play against the winner of the Semifinals Bracket match between the New York Excelsior and Atlanta Reign, on September 13.

If they manage to conquer their opponents, the Titans will then go on to the Grand Finals. The winner of the 2019 Overwatch League Playoffs will bring home a $1,100,000 USD total prize pool.
