Valorant is nearing the end of the final act of its first official Episode. This means that players can expect big changes coming to the game, along with rewards for their performance over the course of the first episode.
Riot has officially announced the competitive rewards for the first episode. Here’s what they are, what you need to do to get them, and when you can expect them.
Valorant Episode One competitive rewards
At the end of Valorant‘s first episode, players will get a Gun Buddy as a competitive reward for their play. There will be different Gun Buddies for the different ranks and each player will get the Gun Buddy corresponding with their rank.
Each Gun Buddy appears with the symbol for the player’s respective rank. So, a player with a silver Act Rank will get a Gun Buddy with the silver emblem on it, and a platinum player will get one with the platinum emblem on it.
How to get the rewards
To get your Gun Buddy reward, you need to have an eligible Act Rank by the end of Act 3. To do this, you simply need to fill out your Act Rank by playing rated Valorant games. Winning games and performing well will help you get a better Act Rank; losing or performing poorly will hurt your chances.
You will have until January 11 to play your matches to get your reward. Keep in mind that you will get a reward no matter what rank you finish, so don’t worry if you can’t get out of iron. Although, that doesn’t make for the best flex.
A token to remember the first Episode of VALORANT.
