A week before CWL Pro League starts up again, UYU has made a change to their Call of Duty roster. Formerly in a substitute role, UYU has moved Alex “Zaptius” Bonilla to their starting lineup. This also means Nicholas “Proto” Maldonado is being lowered to a substitute role.

UYU’s new Call of Duty roster

Zaptius joins Mehran “Mayhem” Anjomshoa, Anthony “Methodz” Zinni, Saul “Parzelion” Masse-Siguenza, and Matthew “Royalty” Faithfull. The Head Coach, Jack “VandyJF” Frierson, will still stay the same.

  • Zaptius is a player for UYU. He achieved a third place finish with Cyclone NA at CWL Fort Worth Open 2019. He has also competed under organizations like Mazer Gaming, Project 18, Cyclone NA, Lethal Gaming, and InControl Gaming.
  • Methodz is a Main AR. He joined the organization in January 2019 after leaving G2 Esports. He has previously competed for FaZe Clan, OpTic Gaming, Rise Nation, and CLG.
  • Mayhem is a Canadian AR Slayer player. He joined the organization in November 2018 and had previously played for Morituri Esports, GGEA Orange, and Team Allegiance.
  • Parzelion is a Main AR. He joined UYU from Midnight Esports. Previous teams he has played under include Revenge and EZG Esports.
  • Royalty is a Canadian SMG Slayer player. He joined UYU from Evil Geniuses in April. Some rosters he has been on before are Lightning Pandas, Enigma6 Group, and KingPapey.

CWL Pro League results

Unfortunately, the Call of Duty roster has not achieved satisfactory results in recent CWL events. The team achieved a 9-12 placing at CWL London 2019 and CWL Fort Worth 2019, along with a 13-16 placing at CWL Las Vegas Open 2019.

UYU will play their first match with the new roster on May 13 against FaZe Clan in the CWL Pro League. How do you think the team will do? Keep up with all of the latest Call of Duty news and content at Daily Esports.
