The last round of qualifiers for the Valorant First Strike tournament in North America took place over this past weekend, thus sealing the NA bracket. Sixteen teams went into the UMG qualifiers, and only four emerged triumphant for the Regional Finals. However, there can only be one winner from the Grand Finals, and that was TSM, who beat FaZe Clan in the end 3 – 1.
Luminosity Gaming, TSM, Gen.G Esports, and T1 all dominated the group stages, each advancing to the playoffs with a solid 2 – 0 record (TSM actually had a 3 – 0 record). Cloud9 Blue, Moon Raccoons, and Immortals all advanced by winning two games to one. FaZe Clan, which ended up in the Grand Finals, struggled in the group stage and came away with 2 – 2 to move on.
Immortals, TSM, and T1 then cruised through the quarterfinals, smashing through their opponents 2 – 0. FaZe Clan and Gen.G Esports were the only ones to push for the third map in the quarterfinals, but FaZe Clan won out in the end, 2 – 1.
The semifinals consisted of FaZe Clan, T1, Immortals, and TSM, who are therefore the top four teams to advance to the First Strike NA finals. As we already know, TSM ultimately claimed first place against FaZe Clan.
First Strike NA Regional Finals bracket
It’s been a grueling process thus far, but eight teams have claimed their stakes in the first-ever official NA Valorant tournament. The top four teams from the NSG qualifier — Team Envy, 100 Thieves, Sentinels, and Renegades — will face off against FaZe Clan, Immortals, TSM, and T1. Riot Games has already set up the quarterfinal brackets, so the tournament is ready to begin on December 3. Here is your Valorant First Strike NA bracket.
With so many great teams in the running, the first Valorant First Strike tournament should be intense, not to mention rather fun to watch. Who do you think will come home with the Grand Prize? Let us know in the comments below!
