The newest set of weapon skins arrived in the Valorant store today. The Valorant BlastX Collection is here and brings us five cool new skins with a slightly different theme than we’ve seen in the past.
Here’s a look at the latest collection, which weapons got skins, their costs, and how long they will be in the shop.
The Valorant BlastX Collection
The new collection features five different weapon skins that all resemble toys, like Nerf guns or Legos. This is a shift away from the more spacelike or futuristic feel that most weapon skins have. Here are the weapons getting BlastX skins:
- Frenzy
- Spectre
- Phantom
- Odin
- Melee
The skins for each gun will have four different color options, as well as VFX, animation, and finisher upgrades that you can purchase with Radianite Points. The knife also comes with four different color options and a VFX upgrade.
The upgrades and effects make the weapons seem even more like toys, as they added sounds, animations, and visual effects that resemble toy guns.
Take out the bad guys with suction darts that pack a punch!

Dates and costs
The Valorant BlastX Collection will be in the shop starting Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 5:00 PM ET and stay there for exactly 20 days. The entire collection will cost 8,700 Valorant points (roughly $85). Individual gun skins will cost 2,175 Valorant Points (roughly $20), while the melee skin will cost 4,354 Valorant Points (roughly $45).
This is a pretty pricy collection, but it does come with a lot of different customization options, so keep that in mind when making the purchase. As always, buying the entire collection will give you a discount along with some free goodies.
If you’re looking for a last-minute Christmas Gift for yourself (or someone you know who plays), the Valorant BlastX Collection has a nice toy-like feel and makes for a decent gift. Be sure to check out the collection for yourself and see what you think!
