Despite receiving little love over the course of the past eight months, the Volk has quickly emerged as a top-performing assault rifle in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. Its fast fire rate and mobility have pushed its smaller-map loadout into the close-range meta of Warzone.
While the Volk’s long-range prowess still leaves something to be desired, players can take the AR and dominate with it on a map like Fortune’s Keep or Rebirth Island. Content creators have designed a Volk loadout specifically for this style of gameplay in Warzone.
Content creator WhosImmortal is one of the Volk’s advocates. He named it as one of the top five assault rifles in Season 4 Reloaded thanks to its ability to shred enemies at close to medium range. WhosImmortal’s loadout for the Volk reflects this style of gameplay but also allows the Volk to deal damage at long range as well.

The main goal for this Volk loadout is to increase mobility and recoil control. Mobility is boosted by the Reisdorf 22V Adjustable stock and the M1930 Strife Angled underbarrel. By improving mobility, the Volk can further compete with submachine guns at close range. The optic choice also reflects the style of gameplay players should use with the Volk, as the G16 2.5x scope is meant for medium range.
The rest of the attachments on the loadout are mainly in use to boost recoil control. However, the Recoil Booster is in place to improve fire rate, which gives the Volk a better time-to-kill if players can hit their shots.
