Raven Software decided to nerf one of Call of Duty: Warzone’s best weapons in the Season 3 Reloaded. That weapon was the XM4, which was among the most popular choices for players prior to the Reloaded update. If you’re in this crowd and looking for a replacement, look no further than the Vargo 52, which has a similar loadout that can dominate the opposition in Season 3 of Warzone.

The Vargo 52 has an almost identical build to the XM4 — minus the Season 3 Reloaded nerfs. In fact, Raven Software even slightly buffed the Vargo 52 with the Reloaded update. While the buff wasn’t anything major, it was enough to potentially push it above the XM4’s performance in Warzone. Streamers have been turning to the Vargo 52 and are not disappointed with the weapon’s performance.

Best Vargo 52 loadout in Warzone

The buffs for the Vargo 52 in Season 3 Reloaded are as follows:

  • Min Damage increased to 24, up from 23
  • Headshot Damage Multiplier increased to 1.53, up from 1.5

Players will see the benefit of these buffs at medium-range in Warzone and if they go for headshots. Compared to the XM4, the Vargo 52 has a faster fire rate and lower base recoil. The XM4 has slightly better damage, even after its nerf, but with the Vargo 52’s faster fire rate, players might not need that extra damage.

  • Muzzle: Gru Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.6″ Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mags

This loadout for the Vargo 52 boosts its damage range to more closely match that of the XM4 while lowering its recoil even further. Players can use the Vargo 52 to great effect on either Caldera or Rebirth Island.
