The best Sten loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2

Underrated no longer in Season 2

The submachine gun meta in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 Reloaded seems to change every day. The amount of strong SMGs is almost overwhelming, as several could be considered top options towards the end of Season 2. However, this doesn’t even include some underrated SMGs that could enter the discussion soon. The Sten in Warzone is one such SMG that features a strong loadout rivaling that of the MP40 and Owen Gun.

Ever since Vanguard integrated with Warzone, players glossed over the Sten — mainly due to the the MP40’s early dominance. Players also avoided the Sten because due to its underpowered nature in Vanguard multiplayer. That might not stay the same for long, though, as players are beginning to discover that the Sten is one of the stronger Vanguard SMGs in Warzone.

Best Sten loadout in Warzone

The biggest selling point of this new Sten loadout is its time-t0-kill (TTK). With the specific attachments equipped on the loadout, the Sten features the fastest TTK of any SMG at 15 meters in Warzone. This means as long as players keep their gunfights within this range, they’ll be mowing down enemies within seconds.

The entire loadout for the Sten is viewable below.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: SA 65mm Rapid
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Gawain Para
  • Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: .45 ACP 32 Round Mag
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Perk: Acrobatic
  • Perk2: Quick

The attachments that make this loadout tick are the Recoil Booster and SA 65mm Rapid barrel. Both of these attachments increase fire rate, which helps increase the Sten’s TTK. The Lengthened Ammo Type boosts bullet velocity to make those bullets travel faster while the rest of the loadout focuses on improving mobility and recoil control.
