The best STB 556 loadout in Warzone 2 Season 2

There are a number of weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that have transitioned into the meta for Warzone 2. Most of these weapons are already strong in MW2, so a majority of players had them leveled up and immediately found that they’re still powerful in the new battle royale. However, there are some underrated weapons that Warzone 2 players should take notice of, including the STB 556 assault rifle and its best loadout.

The STB 556 is one of the best assault rifles in MW2, even being banned by professional players and tournament websites. Season 2 didn’t deliver any kind of buff for the assault rifle, but the STB is still a strong AR that can decimate enemies in either multiplayer or Warzone 2. Although, up to this point, the STB hasn’t received much attention on Al Mazrah or Ashika Island. If players want to give the STB 556 a chance, though, they should be using its best set of attachments.

Best STB 556 loadout in Warzone 2

Compared to other meta assault rifles in Warzone 2, like the TAQ-56 and M4, the STB 556 stacks up quite nicely; it has great range and fire rate paired with little recoil, making it a strong contender. The STB could use some buffs in those areas if it really wants to contend for the meta, though. Those buffs can be easily applied on the AR’s loadout.

The loadout begins with the trusty Echoless-80 muzzle, which is a suppressor that increases recoil control and damage range while only slightly lowering mobility. Luckily, the rest of the loadout makes up for that nicely with the STIP-40 Grip and Bruen MX9 Stock. Those attachments boost stats like ADS and sprint-to-fire time. The 5.56 High Velocity ammunition increases bullet velocity and the optic is meant for close-mid range gunfights.
