The best SP-R 208 loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2

An underrated sniper in Season 2
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information

With the recent surge of popularity in the Rebirth Island map for Season 2 Reloaded of Warzone, any edge players can use to dominate opponents comes in handy. This often comes in the form of off meta weapons, which are usually more mobile assault rifles or submachine guns. But one overlooked class is the sniper rifle, which has some forgotten weapons with powerful loadouts in Warzone, such as the SP-R 208.

The SP-R 208 is a sniper rifle that has been compared to the Kar98k and Swiss K31 in the past. However, the SP-R has never been considered to be on par with those weapons thanks to its subpar damage and mobility. However, on Rebirth Island, players can perhaps make greater use out of the SP-R 208 than they could with the Kar98k or Swiss K31.

The reason why the SP-R 208 is one of the better snipers to use on Rebirth is the fact that it doesn’t have to be reloaded after each shot. Players can keep firing after they shoot one bullet, which isn’t a luxury available for bolt-action snipers like the Kar98k. Of course, players will also need to full slate of attachments to make the SP-R 208 strong enough to compete on Rebirth Island.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Optic: Solozero SP-R 28mm
  • Stock: XRK SP-LITE 208 Blitz
  • Magazine: .300 Norma Mag 5-R Magazine

Starting off the loadout is the tried and true Monolithic Suppressor, which improves damage range and recoil control. Following that is the Tac Laser for improved mobility and hip-fire accuracy along with the XRK SP-LITE 208 Blitz stock. The SP-R 208’s top loadout is rounded out by the .300 Norma Mag 5-R Magazine, which gives players enough bullets in each clip to deal with multiple enemies.

The SP-R 208 isn’t a highly picked weapon in Warzone, but with this loadout on Rebirth Island, that might change as Season 2 wraps up.
