When talking about the worst weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone, the SA87 light machine gun is often in the conversation. Since the battle royale’s launch, players have stayed as far away from the SA87 as possible. However, Season 3 introduced so many different weapon balancing updates that off-meta loadouts have become the actual meta.
There’s no weapon more suited to the term “off-meta” than the SA87 in Warzone. It’s seen a spike in usage thanks to players wanting to stray away from the traditional CR-56 AMAX, MP5 and other weapons. During this time, a loadout has been created that makes the LMG somewhat competitive.
Best SA87 loadout in Warzone
Compared to other LMGs, the SA87 lacks a number of qualities. Its recoil, range and damage aren’t up to par with a gun like the Bruen MK9 or Stoner 63. Although, using the right set of attachments bridges the gap between the SA87 and its in-class counterparts.
This set of attachments focuses on recoil and damage range more so than any other stat. If players want the SA87 to compete in-game, these two stats are vital to improving the weapon’s viability.
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: SA87 24.5″ Factory Barrel
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
In regard to recoil management, three separate attachments are in use to keep the SA87 accurate. This starts with the classic Monolithic Suppressor, which also keeps players off the radar when firing. Next, the Ranger Foregrip provides recoil control along with aiming stability. Finally, the SA87 24.5″ Factory Barrel increases recoil along with damage range and bullet velocity. Mobility is reduced with this barrel, but players shouldn’t be too concerned with speed when running an LMG.
The last two attachments are the VLK 3.0x Optic and 60 Round Mags. The former is a popular optic that’s great for long-range gunfights and the latter adds extra bullets to the SA87’s magazine.
For players looking to change things up in Season 3 of Warzone, this SA87 loadout is perfect.
