Once upon a time (two seasons ago), the Owen Gun was one of the strongest weapons in all of Call of Duty: Warzone. The slow-firing submachine gun could down an enemy in the blink of an eye, making it a meta weapon in every sense of the word. However, after developer Raven Software saw just how broken the Owen Gun was, they handed down a couple of nerfs for the gun. This has made the Owen Gun not nearly as popular as it once was. Although, in Season 4 of Warzone, the best Owen Gun loadout can still be a viable option.
The gimmick with the Owen Gun is that it has a tremendously slow fire rate but incredibly high damage range and recoil control. Players hardly have to move their aim when firing with the Owen Gun. They also don’t have to worry about taking too much time to kill an enemy, as a few shots with the Owen Gun and an enemy is downed instantly. Still, the weapon has seen some nerfs some players will want to use its absolute best loadout to ensure they have a fighting chance in Season 4.

Best Owen Gun loadout in Warzone
The main loadout for the Owen Gun has not changed much since the SMG originally entered the meta in Season 2 of Warzone. This is mainly because the attachments used all increase pertinent stats for the Owen Gun.

Players will notice the Owen Gun’s mobility, damage range, recoil control, and fire rate are the main stats increased with this loadout. An increase in fire rate is arguably the most important, as players will want to increase that stat on the SMG as much as possible. The rest of the attachments are all standard that will give players the best chance to succeed with the Owen Gun in Season 4.
