The best MW MP5 loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5

A silent buff has altered this SMG yet again

When Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 was released, many players were surprised to see that the Modern Warfare (MW) MP5 had received a nerf. Many felt that it had been in a sweet spot in regard to the SMG meta. However, Raven Software slightly nerfed the popular weapon in the form of a silent buff in a recent Warzone update. This significantly changes its recommended loadout.

The buff was discovered by YouTuber TrueGameData and it alters one key attachment of the MW MP5. There hasn’t been clarification on whether this silent buff was implemented intentionally but fans can certainly make use of it while it lasts.

The attachment in question is the 10mm Auto 30 Round Mags for the MW MP5. Raven Software silently made it so that this ammunition attachment significantly increases the gun’s time-to-kill. Specifically, the TTK in the chest region. So, as long as players aim for the chest with the MW MP5 and this ammunition equipped, they’ll kill enemies much faster.

The rest of the MW MP5’s loadout for Season 5 of Warzone is found below:

  • Barrel: Subsonic Integral Suppressor
  • Stock: Classic Straight-Line Stock
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
  • Ammunition: 10mm Auto 30 Round Mags
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip

To help with the 10mm Auto’s increased TTK, the Subsonic Integral Suppressor adds some extra damage range as well as recoil control. the Commando Foregrip also provides recoil control. The Classic Straight-Line Stock doesn’t provide recoil control but does allow for extra stability.

For mobility purposes, the Stippled Grip Tape is in use. This is perfect for the close-range engagements that the MW MP5 tends to get into.
