Without a doubt, one of the most popular and strongest weapons in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta has been the MTZ-556. The assault rifle hasn’t been as popular as something like the MCW, but it still appears a ton in the killfeed of any multiplayer match. The same can’t be said for the MTZ-556’s older brother, the MTZ-762. The MTZ-762 is the battle rifle version of this gun and doesn’t have as strong of a loadout as the AR version in Modern Warfare 3.
However, this doesn’t mean the MTZ-762 can’t be a serviceable weapon for you in multiplayer. It has two firing modes, fully-auto and semi-auto, and can deliver quite a punch at mid to long-range. Where the gun falters is at close range, where it’s next to useless against something like the MCW or even the MTZ-556. As such, I will be showcasing a set of attachments to make the MTZ-762 a stronger presence at long-range, where it really shines.
To see the best loadout for the MTZ-762 in Modern Warfare 3, check out the guide below.
Best MTZ-762 loadout in the Modern Warfare 3 beta
- Muzzle: Purifier Muzzle Brake
- Barrel: MTZ Drifter Barrel
- Optic: MK.23 Slate Reflector
- Stock: RB Crotalus Assault Stock
- Rear Grip: MTZ Dauntless Grip
This loadout is designed to increase the damage range and recoil control of the MTZ-762, as those are the most important stats when fighting enemies at longer ranges. The Purifier Muzzle Brake and RB Crotalus Assault Stock are the two attachments that improve your recoil control to make the rifle much more accurate at range.

The MTZ Drifter Barrel improves your overall damage range while the MTZ Dauntless Grip increases aiming stability and flinch resistance. The final attachment on the loadout is the MK.23 Slate Reflector, which is a basic red dot sight that is perfect for mid-range gunfights.
