Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 is well underway and the recent update to multiplayer shook up the weapon meta quite a bit. Several high-profile weapons were either nerfed or buffed, including the Vaznev-9K, RPK, and Fennec 45. One weapon that was also touched is the Minibak, which received quite the nerf. For those unaware, the Minibak has actually been one of the best submachine guns in Modern Warfare 2 for some time, primarily thanks to its strongest loadout.
The Minibak was one of the most well-hidden secrets in multiplayer during Season 1. Many players didn’t know how strong it could be, but once they used it, that immediately became realized. While the Minibak wasn’t as effective as the Vaznev-9K, it was arguably the second-best SMG in multiplayer. Only the Fennec 45 could also lay claim to that spot. If players want to see if the Minibak is still viable even after its Season 2 nerf, they can use its recommended set of attachments.

Best Minibak loadout in Modern Warfare 2
By default, without any attachments, the Minibak has little recoil, great damage range, a giant magazine, and solid mobility. To make it even stronger, we’ll be increasing the Minibak’s recoil control and mobility, which turns it into a huge threat at both close and long range.
- Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Stock: Oztrezat Stock
- Rear Grip: Demo X2 Grip
- Magazine: Minibak Grip Mag
The loadout begins with the Bruen Pendulum muzzle, which drastically increases recoil control. The Demo X2 Grip further boosts that stat as well. The FSS OLE-V Laser and Oztrezat Stock are in place to greatly improve mobility while the Minibak Grip Mag buffs recoil stabilization and aiming stability without reducing the SMG’s base magazine size.
